1942 Chevy Suburban
I just boughtthis after it being in storage for 20 years. It is in pretty good shape, powered by a tired305 chevy with A/T, Needs interior which I am going to finish with varnished mahogany. I would like any input on how to change out the knee action shocks, I also need weatherstripping, emergency brake set up and am pobably going to convert to disc brakes. I am told this is a very rare truck, it was supposedly lost in a card game at West Point, and was used as an ambulance, it had been slated to join the war effort. I am having problems matching up the things I need because of the rarity of this vehicle. Anyone with insight on the shocks, brakes, or weatherstripping please drop me a line.
