 My first try at restoring a classic. This was my dream car (or one of them) when I was a teenager and now (40 years later) I can relive those cruising days of my youth. I'm still looking for the drive in with the carhops on skates who bring you a big malted, fries and a scrumptious hand-made cheeseburger with everything! No fast food in those days. My beauty is a 1956 Mercury Monterey, 312 V-8, Auto. Everything is still original which means she shows her age a little but with some TLC and a few bucks, I'll be cuising in style real soon.
