1956 Chevy

1956 Chevy long bed pickup - Larry Charrlin drives this beautiful truck daily but it is still a work in progress with some metal and interior work left to do. Lately he wrote: 

I have had the truck since 1994.

Most all of the truck is now finished. It is 98% stock.  265 V8, 4 spd Hydramatic.  Original AM radio. Only no-stock modifications are to the bed, instead of pine wood painted black, I used oak, with eight coats of marine varnish. Paint has been finished for two years now.  Two months ago, I bit the bullet on another non-stock item...I put in a twelve bolt positraction rear-end.  3.08  Much better in our Chicago winters.  (This truck gets driven every day,  all year round!)
