Click the Picture to Learn More About the Video Lead bars come in two types. A 30% tin composite and a 20% tin composite, which is softer and easier to work with.
Click the Picture to Learn More About the Video You will use lead paddles to work and shape the lead. Some lead paddles are rounded and some flat. And people will sometimes cut the edges to a point.
Click the Picture to Learn More About the Video Use a tub of tallow to keep the lead paddle slick. If you don't use something, the heat will burn the wood of the lead paddle leaving wood chips in the lead.
