Ford Fender

Click the Picture to Learn More About the Video To demonstrate leading, Ray will customize a 1939 Ford fender by shaping the blunt end of the fender so the tail light fits flush. The tinning butter has already been applied
Click the Picture to Learn More About the Video To help give the leading its shape, use a piece of a tail pipe with some brakets welded to it.
Click the Picture to Learn More About the Video The pipe is then locked into place by screws. Since pipe hasn't been tinned you can lead right up to the pipe without the lead welding to it. When you are finished you will be able to push out the pipe. Because the area where lead is being applied is vulnerable, use the harder 30% tin.
