Heat the metal where you will be working. |

Heat the lead bar as you keep the metal hot. Heat the lead bar about 1/2 inch at a time and don't get it too hot. If you heat to much of the lead or get it too hot it may fall off the bar and onto the floor. |

When the lead becomes molten, apply it to the metal. Alway keep the metal warm as you go. |
